Amy is the director of Red Gumboot Consulting Ltd.  She is a proud born and bred Central Otago girl. She is also a qualified lawyer, and is recognised as having huge amounts of energy, enthusiasm and life experience.

It is quite correct that “she can’t drive tractors, but she can talk!”. Add her excellent communication skills to the mix and you have the key to a dynamic, entertaining, engaging, inspirational, and very “real” presenter.

When Amy completed her law degree at Otago University, she also completed papers towards a primary school teacher training degree. Ultimately however, she believed that she could help more people working as a lawyer. For as long as Amy can possibly remember she's had a passion for people. Amy gets great pleasure in bringing the best out in people. The young and not so young!

Amy practiced successfully as a lawyer for approximately 6 years. Her first 2 and a half years were spent doing commercial law and the latter family/criminal law. Amy left law to travel overseas, but prior to leaving she was approached by a charitable trust. They were advised to contact her because of her range of strengths. She did a variety of things for the trust including legal work, setting up office systems, creating brochures, course material, template letters and built enduring relationships with key people and organisations.

Most importantly Amy successfully facilitated self development courses for a variety of people from the community including youth, unemployed, business people, community workers and parents. It was a privilege for her to be working with people with such diverse backgrounds.

Leaving New Zealand for the United Kingdom for her OE, Amy worked as a consultant for a large New Zealand information design company. She was involved with training and process analysis internally and for multinational clients.

Amy has presented a variety of lively talks to a variety of audiences: - corporates, businesses, organisations, schools (teachers, parents and students), community groups, service clubs, and in fact even entire communities! 

Amy is passionate about bringing people in businesses and communities together.  She is determined to see all of New Zealand "dotted!".
